Abstract

Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian Nation is often questioned and justified as a policy tool that is subordinate, subdued, and side with globalization that succeeds in shaping aspects of life, such as: technology, perspective, and pragmatic behavior. Gradually, the distrust of Pancasila ideology has an impact on the shift in values, namely radicalism. In history series, Banyuwangi District has radicalism seeds, namely: (1) in 1987, massacre of 20 people by a farmer; (2) in 1998, the massacre of 147 people suspected of dukun santet; (3) December 2014, the arrest of Kebalenan residents for involvement in terror activities; (4) February 2018, the arrest of Kandangan villagers for attacking the church congregation of St. Lidwina Church, Yogyakarta; (5) February 2018, Benculuk villagers caught in Poso due to terror activities; (6) The perpetrators of the suicide boom on May 13, 2018 in Surabaya are Muncar residents, (7) May 15, 2018, Banyuwangi residents arrested in Pandaan, Pasuruan, due to suicide boom in Surabaya. To apply Pancasila as an intensive, systemic, and sustainable way of life by positioning thoughts, attitudes, behaviors as Pancasila subjects, it certainly needs to be initiated the question: what is the emergence of radicalism and terrorism in the community because it is not applicable communication aspect done by Banyuwangi Regency Government? Is there no support for human and budgetary aspects? Is the implementation disposition aspect in the case of early detection of radicalism and terrorism development in Banyuwangi Regency ineffective? Is there confusion in the bureaucratic structure of the structure? Keywords: Pancasila, Deradicalization Strategy, Banyuwangi.
